Personal 32 week learning journey with regard to the  12 Practising Teacher Criteria (PTC) in e-learning. Criteria Met: Criteria 1:   Fully registered teachers establish and maintain effective professional relationships focused on the learning and well-being of all ākonga. (Ākonga is inclusive of all learners in the full range of settings.) Since day one of my teaching career I have been able to build strong relationships with Students, Colleagues and Whanau. As for the e-learning side of professional relationships, students use e-learning tools confidently to share information about themselves which provides a way for me to connect with them and discover insights into who they are and what they can accomplish.  During the 32 weeks of this Post. Views on Indigenous Knowledge and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy. When reflecting on Indigenous Knowledge and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, I decided to create a mindmap that shows all the things that I consider when working with students, though I am not always conscious  of doing so.  As a teacher I don't initially sit back and look at the members of my class and categorise them according to their cultural and indigenous backgrounds. This is due to the fact that I feel anyone can achieve highly regardless of their make-up. I generally look at them according to their abilities first. This is initially based on assessment data and previous school or class records, and then followed by observing the child within the first week of being at school. While assessment data isn't necessarily the most accurate measure of a students ability or need, it does give me a starting point that allows for lots of movement. Wow, firstly I just wanted to comment on the article regarding " the bloggers mistake ". That is so scary to think that people are actually out there setting up innocent people for big bucks. I know I use images from Google and have been doing so for many years - fingers crossed I don't get nabbed. But this article really makes you think of the nasty things that can happen because of the World Wide Web and the access one has to the world. This is also a scary thought for our students who are constantly copying things from Google like background wallpapers and themes. Definitely a lesson to teach our students.  Identify an ethical dilemma in own practice linked to digital or online access or activity. Explain the dilemma and discuss  how you would address the potential issue if it occurred in your own practice. I am very cautious about using Social Media for my personal use.
